Work not rest
On the way to building a career there are not only objective difficulties, such as lack of experience or knowledge, but also psychological ones. Systematic stress at work is one of the most common reasons for layoffs. That's why a number of companies hire corporate psychologists to help employees cope with stress, while others reimburse part of the costs for external psychologists.
At the EMCR Pain Point and NES round table we discussed:
- Working beyond the norm: where the line is drawn between company loyalty and psychological burnout;
- How to say "no" to your colleagues;
- Compulsive learning: how to recognize "imposter syndrome";
- How to properly ask for a raise;
- What to do if you and a manager have different systems of motivation.
