Sber M&A team (Investment Banking), being a part of the Investment department, provides integrated financial solutions and investment advisory services to our clients, the majority of whom are large companies.
The successful candidate of M&A team will play a vital and accountable role in all aspects of origination and execution work across different sectors and products (with a focus on the core M&A products across various sectors).

The position:
IB Associate is a mid-level member of the Investment Banking team supporting senior colleagues in the execution of M&A transactions. Associates report to Associate Directors and MDs, and are mainly responsible for the execution with relevant technical aspects and assisting senior team members in transaction origination.

Key responsibilities of the role:
• Providing support to the team on origination and execution of corporate finance transactions. Preparation of presentations, complex financial models, analysis of trends and developments of specific industries
• Interaction with senior team members and client representatives on detailed, day-to-day aspects of a transaction. Communication with advisers, lawyers, accountants and other counterparties
• Preparation of comprehensive valuation analysis using various valuation techniques
• Supervision and mentorship of junior team members (analysts, interns)
• Direct communication with the clients on various matters related to the execution of transactions
• Preparation of documents for internal approval processes
