Portfolio Manager, Armbrok Investment Company
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Portfolio Manager to join our team at ARMBROK Investment Company. The ideal candidate will perform day-to-day fixed-income securities trading for portfolios and client accounts, while proactively managing customized equity portfolios tailored to our clients’ needs.
Responsibilities:
• Perform day-to-day fixed-income securities trading for portfolios and client accounts.
• Ensure the efficiency of trading activities by identifying and applying the best combination of price, size, and timeframe for buy/sell transactions.
• Construct and manage customized equity portfolios based on clients’ requirements, including return expectations, industry preferences, and risk tolerance.
• Develop and implement investment strategies aimed at maximizing profits generated for clients.
• Conduct in-depth research to identify investment opportunities in the equities market, assessing portfolio suitability based on issuer financial standing, profitability, and risk factors.
• Generate investment strategy recommendations and propose informed investment decisions based on financial market analysis, forecast models, and risk evaluations.
• Monitor portfolio management performance against pre-agreed benchmarks, providing insights to clients on key contributors and obstacles.
• Ensure compliance of trades with legislation and regulations, maintaining proper documentation.
• Develop trading strategies to maximize investors’ profits and manage trading projects as assigned.
• Conduct market research and analysis, monitoring government and corporate fixed income markets.
• Identify profitable investment opportunities for investors and collaborate with the portfolio management team to share these insights.
• Reach out to existing and potential institutional and individual clients to present market information and investment opportunities, explaining the services offered.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with industry contacts to ensure a constant flow of information on prices, new issues, allocations, and broker services.
• Submit reports to management on a regular basis in the required format.
Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in asset management.
• Experience managing AUM of over US$ 50 million.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Armenian and Russian is considered an advantage.
