Investment Research Associate (Special situations & dispute consulting firm)

Responsibilities
• Daily monitoring of global business and economic news with the purpose of sourcing ideas on companies in distress or other kind of special situation
•
• Generating and presenting investment ideas for further consideration by management
• Conducting industry research and analysis of special situations and putting together analytical notes for further presentation to management and the investment committee
• Preparing reports, notes, and presentations on a regular basis and producing ad-hoc reports on particular companies or industries

Requirements

Requirements
• 5-6 year’s background in corporate finance or valuation department of a BIG4 company or equity research experience with a prominent investment bank
• Higher education degree in Finance, Economics or Mathematics
• Outstanding analytical skills
• Excellent understanding of global economic trends
• Desire and ability to present information in a structured manner
• Stress resistance and ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Power Point
• Fluent English
